This article has been provided by Kevin Baker,  Library and Culture Development Officer, Argyll and Bute Council

Over 120 people have responded so far. We’ve been given strong, compelling views with a lot of creativity and innovation in the answers we’ve received with good recommendations about the way forward. Thank you to everyone who’s contributed so far and for your opinions. We’ll outline some of these views and the way forward, later this month and early December, at workshops to be held at:

  • Colintraive (Caol Rudh  Sculpture Park) – Thursday 28th November
  • Tarbert, Kintyre  (Templar Art and Leisure Centre) – Friday 29th November
  • Oban (SAMS centre) –  Thursday 5th December

You’ll have the chance to say whether you agree with the direction or if we’ve missed anything. The events are free. To register your interest in joining us, click here:

Timing of the workshops will be late morning/early afternoon, to give everyone a good chance of reaching the workshops from ferries and/or home and they’ll each last about 2½ hours. We’ll contact you by email with more information on timing, directions and the agenda.

Remember, even if you cannot join us, you can still contribute to the way forward:

1.       There’s still time to contribute through the survey – just click on this link:

2.       You can contact me direct with your views.   Tel: 01631 567978  mailto:
