Helensburgh Grey Matters celebrate the Bard

Jimmy hatHelensburgh Grey Matters held a Burn’s day event on Saturday 25th January. Entertainers included local school pupils, Aveline Twaddle  -Junior 3 , Ross Gildea and Michael Twaddle – Transitus 2 performed Burns Poetry. Philip Twaddle – S3 played the Bagpipes and piped in the Haggis Suppers which were from The Wee Kelpie fish and chip shop. An extremely difficult Scottish Quiz was compiled by Grey Matters members Helen Colwell and Bryan Fleck and the winner with an impressive 17/20 was Rob Snodgrass – pictured receiving his prize from Michael Twaddle and Ross Gildea
