Focus on –services on-line

Request it, report it, pay it, book it – there’s a lot you can do on our website!

Request it: you can check your council tax balance, find out about council tax discounts, order a wheelie bin and make various other service requests.

Report it: here for example you can find and comment on planning applications, report an abandoned vehicle, apply for a skip permit or make a complaint.

Pay it: you can make a range of payments on-line, from council tax or parking tickets, to archive searches if you’re looking into your family history.

Book it: from community centres to mini buses, you’ll find information here on what you can book on-line.

Other on-line options include applying for a job, getting information on bus, train, air and ferry timetables, and finding bin collection times – www.argyll-bute.gov.uk is always worth a visit!

News from the council

Oban Regeneration update: Planning permission is now in place for public realm and new north pier facility.

Draft parking policy agreed: This new policy aims to ensure consistency in regard to parking policy across Argyll and Bute, while recognising the specific needs of our different areas.

Referendum voting registration deadline: The deadline for registering to vote in time for the referendum is Tuesday 2nd September.
