Achnamara Village Hall is run by a voluntary committee. It was originally built in the 1950′s by the people who came to live in the newly constructed forestry village. Achnamara is situated at the head of Loch Sween, 9 miles from Lochgilphead.
The Hall Committee runs a programme of events throughout the year which have included coffee mornings, table sales, ceilidhs, bonfire nights, Christmas parties, slide shows and talks. The Hall is also available for hire for private events.
In 2009, we hope to continue to improve the Hall so that it can continue to provide a community focus in the coming years.
