STEPS to Excellence
This course offers an opportunity to take a fresh look at your life. Steps helps people see how much they are truly capable of achieving and offers a simple set of tools to move people through a self-reinforcing spiral of building a positive identity and producing positive results while having great fun along the way.
People on the previous courses have said it
” gave me much more confidence”
” allowed me to get out and meet new people”
“meant I could look at my life, set goals and go for what I want”
STEPS is a developmental programme which has earned a reputation as a powerful tool for individual and organisational advancement

Our Getogethers which are held every 6 -8 weeks are very popular and allow people who have gone through the Steps to Excellence course at different times to meet up, get to know each other and have a chat.
Leeanne Devenny completed the Steps to Excellence course in November 2009. She described the course as “Life changing”. Since then she has gone on to run the Helensburgh 10K and chose to donate the money she raised to AVA!! This money will go towards raising awareness of the Steps to Excellence course to others. We have also arranged a trip to Kilcreggan for tsome of those who have already completed Steps and for those looking to take the course in the future.
