MAD IN CAMPBELTOWN

Maryanne Stewart  met up with the people who had done the Step course recently.  All said how much they had enjoyed and benefited from the course. One said she now had much more confidence in dealing with what life throws at her. Another had applied for two jobs. All were happy to recommend the course to friends and family.

During the last few months there has been a hive of activity in the Campbeltown office.

We held our Halloween Spooktacular on 29th October.

Everyone enjoyed a rotten refreshment while chatting & finding out about AVA.

A Timebank member has been helping tutor another member with his English.

Our regular Timebank members have been helping out in the office. Their help is always very much apprieciated.

Up To Our Volunteers In It!

AVA & it’s Volunteers have been working with Kintyre Youth Enquiry Service, Campbeltown Organic Garden & Dalintober Residents Association to tidy up & plant herbs/flowers in the Dalintober Millknowe Residents Association garden at Broom Cottage.  STEPS COURSE JUNE 2010

7 participants completed the Campbeltown STEPS course which ran for 5 days.

For  the individuals, it was an opportunity to take a fresh look at their lives.  They are helped to move beyond where they have become stuck to more fulfilling and successful lives.

The programme helps people to see how much they are truly capable of achieving and offers the tools to make it happen.
