Time banking is a helpful neighbourhood volunteering scheme that enables members to get practical help when they need it whilst giving time to help their community. It is free to join and easy to do.

Members ‘deposit’ their time in the bank by giving practical help and support to others and are able to ‘withdraw’ their time when they need something done themselves.
This could include gaining new skills, house sitting, crafts, shopping, cooking, dog walking, gardening, making friends and so on.
Everyone’s time is valued equally: 1 hour = 1 time credit. This may be given or taken in an individual or in a group setting.
