The Kintyre Youth Cafe is a group run by young people for young people and the wider community.

The main project is to get the Cafe up and running in Campbeltown. The cafe will be  for everyone in the community and it will be managed by young people, with young people getting the opportunity to train in catering / hospitality skills, with support to get a job locally. This responds to various needs identified by young people and the wider community.

The group has been developing other projects like the peer mentoring, alcohol awareness, internet safety training up at the Campbeltown Grammar School, and looking at developing joint projects in the community.
