|7:15 pm||to||9:00 pm|
At our meeting on Tuesday 2nd February, John Mclean, who is working with Minette on the gardens at Ardmaddy , will be talking on the subject of “The history and cultivation of the potato”.
Catherine Detit from Glencruitten walled garden project, Green Shoots, will also be showing a short video about the project.
There will be a plant and seed swap and also a bring and buy table, so please bring along donations and extra funds in case you are tempted into a purchase.
The meetings take place at St John’s Cathedral Hall – the one on George Street. Access is from William Street around the back.
Arrive from 7.15pm as the meeting begins at 7.30pm.
As usual there will be refreshments and tasty home baking to round off the evening (donation requested). The meetings are free to members (£15 for year) or if you join us as a visitor you are very welcome at a cost of £3 per meeting.

Note. We no longer have the help of Jean our previous tea convener so we are looking for volunteers to join a rota to take the lead on the refreshments. We also need bakers of course and others to help out with the washing up.
