The Cancer Care Support Group go on special days out during the summer months. The photo of some of the members of the group pictured here was taken at Crarae Gardens in May 2008.
In May 2009 the group made a trip to Gigha.The photo opposite was taken in the Achamore Gardens. We toured the Island had coffee at the Gigha hotel, visited the Gigha gallery and after a late lunch in the Boathouse Cafe we took the return ferry home.
This year we had an Irish theme night as our March meeting fell close to St Patrick's day. A great time was had by all at the event and the evening was a special celebration for our chairman's mother as she was celebrating her 90th birthday on the night. The above photo shows Mrs Barclay to the left of the picture along with some of the people present at The Irish Night.The photo was taken by a photographer from the Argyllshire Advertiser and was kindly given to us by the Advertiser for us to display on our web site.
The above photo shows some of the group taken a few years ago at the Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show in the Radison Hotel Glasgow.
