Rev. Cliff Acklam is being inducted into the linked charges of Kilmartin, Glassary and Ford with North Knapdale today at 2pm in Kilmartin Church. 
Cliff moved here with his two dogs, Dylan and Meg, from his previous parish of Avonbridge linked with Torphichen in West Lothian where he was minister for ten years.
Cliff said “I’m looking forward to making a difference and my favourite task as a minister is getting to know people, hearing their stories and being part of their stories. That is what the Christian faith is all about; Jesus walked beside us and engaged with us.”
Cliff enjoys running, swimming and cycling as well as being very interested in wildlife and environmental issues.
Cliff’s first service in our parish is the Open Air Songs of Praise on Tayvallich Front Green – part of the Tayvallich Weekend activities.
