OBAN ADDICTION SUPPORT AND INFORMATION SERVICE
WHO ARE WE?
THE OBAN ADDICTION SUPPORT AND INFORMATION
SERVICE IS A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION
WHICH HELPS THOSE AFFECTED BY SUBSTANCE
MISUSE, PROVIDING CONFIDENTIAL AND NON
JUDGEMENTAL SUPPORT AND ADVICE. THE AIM OF
THE ORGANISATION IS TO ASSIST DRUG USERS
LEAD ORDINARY LIVES, ACCESS MAINSTREAM
SERVICES AND DEVELOP POSITIVE
RELATIONSHIPS.
We offer a range of services to individuals and families currently or previously affected by drugs.
This is a confidential service. What you tell your addictions worker may be shared with other workers within the project and will not be shared with other agencies without your permission.
However in exceptional circumstances, (such as serious risk to yourself or others) we may have to involve other services – OASIS will make every effort to inform you of this. However in cases of child protection this may not be possible.
