Opportunity to raise funds – “children’s charities”
Now I know that as the sun shines the last thing you are thinking about is winter events, but planning has already started by a group of very enthusiastic and committed volunteers to provide a Ready Steady Christmas “ winter Festival” in Oban. As part of the programme being planned , it is intended to hold a Children’s/Young Entrepreneurs Christmas Craft Market in the Corran Halls, the festival volunteers would therefore like to invite “childrens charities/organisations” to take a table, offering you the opportunity to raise funds. This Children’s charity event will be on the last day of the “Festival” Sunday 27th November and will conclude with massed children’s choirs and a children’s Lantern Parade .
To allow the volunteers to allocate stalls and prepare floor plans we would be grateful if you would reply to Kathleen with confirmation of your wish to host a stall. Office.ava@btconnect.com. by the end of August as we expect this to be a very busy event as all schools have also been asked to take part.
