Argyll Voluntary Action training wing has been developed substantially over the last four years. We aim to provides resources for individuals, volunteer involving organisations and community and social enterprise groups to promote lifelong learning and key skills for the 21st Century and gained recognition as a Branded Learning Centre with Learndirect Scotland in Jan 2009 and in 2010 became an ILA centre. We have a staff team with skills in a range of areas all of whom are qualified trainers – many of our courses are already accredited with more coming available toward the end of this current year. Our training brochure for 2011-12 is now available, please click here to view.
Currently, we are able to offer core training free of charge to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations registered with Argyll Voluntary Action (see argyllcommunities.org home page to register) whilst other training incurs a small charge – again, this is discounted for organisations registered with our organisation. Additional training will be advertised on the Argyll Communities Training page as it becomes available and notified by email to those registered on the Argyll Communities website.
Topics can be held as workshops or as bespoke training depending on demand. For organisations registered with Argyll Communities or Argyll Third Sector Partnership a discounted rate can be negotiated for bespoke training events. Any requests should be made to your local Argyll Voluntary Action office, or alternatively by completing the contact form.
