VICTIM SUPPORT Argyll & Bute – Free, Independent, Confidential Help and Support.
No one expects or plans to be a victim of crime, yet crime can happen to anyone. Whether a housebreaking, an assault, a theft or harassment, it can leave you feeling angry, worried and alone.
Other peoples reactions can be difficult to handle and it’s sometimes hard to find someone to talk to openly about how you’re feeling.
Victim Support’s trained volunteers understand the practical and emotional aspects caused by crime and provide free, confidential and independent help through a choice of contact – by letter, telephone support, home visit and outreach facility.
At Victim Support we can help you whether or not you have reported the crime to the police. We can also help you with insurance and criminal injury compensation claims, crime prevention and personal safety advice. We may also provide you information on other agencies.
If you have been affected by crime and would like to talk to someone about how you’re feeling then please call us on 0141 952 2095.
Or you can write to us at 28 Kilbowie Road, Clydebank. G81 1TH.
